Our Staff

Kim Mackey: Kim has been the office manager at Stoney Creek since 2007, and works hard to keep us all "on track". She has lived in Delaware County her whole life. Kim also created Pro Pet Nanny, and along with her sister, Kate, provides most of the sitting services. Kim loves to come to the hospital to pamper all the patients, and she especially pampers her own 2 dogs Maddie and Piper.

Lauren Niser: Lauren joined our team in April, 2011. She worked at two other local small animal practices over the last few years before making Stoney Creek her home.  Really, she has been working with animals her whole life.  Her mother opened up an animal grooming shop when she was little and after being around the animals, she knew caring for animals was her calling, not just her career. Lauren believes that she is one of those lucky people that gets to love going to work every day. She knows it takes a certain type of person to work in an veterinary hospital and she knows this is where she belongs. Her goal is to make life better for the beautiful pets she cares for every day.  Lauren is enrolled in online classes to complete her Veterinary Technician training. She is the proud momma to two crazy rescue cats named Bobcat and Missy.

Eileen Plover: Eileen has been a professional dog groomer since 1984 and became our groomer at Stoney Creek in 1996.  Eileen is much beloved by our clients for the wonderful job she does at making dogs and cats look their best. Eileen appreciates the long-standing relationships she has developed with our clients and their pets.

Melissa Rossney: Melissa has been on staff at Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital since 2000.  She lives in Ridley Park with her husband and son and many spoiled pets, including 3 cats, two dogs, 2 guinea pigs and a love bird.

Anne Havey: Anne is an AKC certified dog trainer, and has been training dogs and training SCVH dog owners since 2005. She is most proud of her new training room upstairs at the hospital. Anne lives in Holmes with her husband and after owning and training Collies and Shelties for years, she is now the proud owner of a (very smart!) miniature poodle, Tully.

Kate Mackey: When Kate was 16 years old, she started to work in a veterinary hospital, and now could never imagine doing anything else for a living. She joined Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital in 2005, where she has improved her technical skills and nursing. She is currently completing coursework for veterinary technician certification. In 2007, she co-founded Pro Pet Nanny through Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital. Kate was promoted to Operations Manager in April 2011. She is responsible for all the day-to-day operations of our practice.

Nina Peterson: Nina joined our team in 2007, after many years of customer service and receptionist work in various fields. Lisa Blair: You will never see Lisa at the front desk without a smile, or an encouraging word if your pet is sick. Lisa joined our staff part time in 2007.  She was already well-known to everyong at Stoney Creek, because she rescued one of our favorite patients, Sully, and cared for him during his last year of life. Rescue comes easily to Lisa and her husband, and her volunteer work at the Delaware County SPCA gives her the opportunity to help those special animals in need. The Blairs live in Morton and their pet family includes three beautiful rescue cats.

Karen is actively involved in rescue, and is a founding member of ACDC, the Animal Coalition of Delaware County.  She works tirelessly to find homes for unwanted animals and fosters numerous pets herself. In her valuable free time, you can find Karen cooking, as she is a consultant for Pampered Chef.
