Dr. Gillin
Dr. Gillin is a local to the area, having grown up in Aston where her parents still reside. From a young age, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian—her love for animals and desire to care for them sparked when she was just 5 years old. Throughout her youth and during college, Dr. Gillin gained hands-on experience by volunteering and working on horse farms, at the Philadelphia Zoo, and in various veterinary hospitals and kennels. After working with many different animals in she found that her true passion was with companion animals, specifically dogs and cats.
Dr. Gillin earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Lehigh University in 2001 before going on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Since graduating, Dr. Gillin has remained close to home, gaining experience in both emergency and general practice fields. She deeply enjoys building relationships with clients and their beloved pets, always striving to strengthen the human-animal bond. Her primary goal is to ensure pets live happy, comfortable lives as they age.
Dr. Gillin resides locally with her husband and two daughters. Their family includes fish and a sweet, affectionate older cat named Phoebe, who loves spending time with children. Dr. Gillin hopes to soon expand her family with a dog or two. When she’s not working, you can find Dr. Gillin enjoying quality time with her family in the mountains or at the shore. She also enjoys skiing, exercising, and painting whenever she can find a moment of downtime.
