Dr. McCartin
Dr. Meghan McCartin grew up in Chester County but has called Delaware County home since 2009. In her education, she first followed a pre-med/vet track at West Chester University and later graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Dr. McCartin received acupuncture certification in January 2024 from Chi University in Reddick, FL and hopes to start working toward a rehab certification in 2025.
Soft tissue surgery is Dr. McCartin’s favorite part of veterinary medicine. She also really enjoys helping her patients stay well with routine and preventive care. Over the years, she has developed a real soft spot for the gray faces, and few things bring her more joy than keeping them comfortable and happy as they age.
Dr. McCartin’s household currently includes her college sweetheart, Justin, two energetic mixed breed dogs, the epitome of the veterinarian’s cat, a beautiful Bearded Dragon and a comparatively quiet Eastern Box Turtle. When she’s not at work, you’ll probably find Dr. McCartin at a local park hiking with the dogs, pulling weeds from all of the gardens surrounding her new home, attempting to train previously mentioned dogs, scrapbooking or cooking or traveling with Justin (they have a particular love of Vermont and the fall).
